Outlook 2016 calendar appointments not updating

Thanks to Exchange Active Sync technology added since Microsoft Exchange server 2003, all synced devices can exchange data in a manner that prevents deleting, duplicating or corrupting data.

You can use this technology with any version of Outlook (2003, 2007, 2010, 20) as well as with any i Phone, including i Phone 5/5s, i Phone 6/6s/Plus and i Phone 7.

In most cases, i Phone can push and pull Outlook data using Exchange Active Sync technology perfectly.

However, sometimes, due to misconfiguration, i Phone can connect to Exchange and pull data but fails to push any changes back to Outlook.

If you have exported your Studio Cloud calendar to Outlook (see Export your Studio Cloud Calendar to Outlook 2007), you may want to change the refresh or update rate of the calendar.

When I try to open my Contacts or Calendar folder, I now get the error: Older versions of i Cloud (version 4.1 and previous) have some compatibility issues with Windows 10 and sadly also affects Outlook functionality.i Cloud version 5.0 added support for Windows 10 and i Cloud version 5.1 added support for Outlook 2016 (both 32-bit and 64-bit).

Currently, i Cloud has already switched to version 6 releases.

Another way to identify the problem is setting up another Exchange account on your i Phone and testing how it works with calendar.

If the second account does not sync either, it means the problem is in i Phone’s operating system.
